In anticipation of the upcoming Ice Hockey World Cup 2022, Oddset sought to generate increased engagement for some of the lesser-known sports by offering a range of Free Bets.
Recognizing that a significant portion of bets are still placed through physical kiosks, we decided to go "back to basics" and execute a strategic "power play."
Across numerous kiosks throughout the city, we displayed eye-catching posters featuring hockey players, inviting participants to pluck a tooth from the player depicted. Each tooth concealed a QR code, which, when scanned, provided a direct link to a 50 kr. free bet, adding an exciting and interactive element to the campaig and the World Cup.
